How Media, Business & Government Lie and Spread Psychological Warfare
systematic disinformation plays such a large role in what we see, how we react, spend our money and who we end up voting for. The control, manipulation, distortion and outright fabrication of information are crucial to the smooth operation of the machinery of war and power.

The War on Drugs Sucks!
11.24.07 (8:05 pm)   [edit]
The "War on Drugs" sucks and is a phenomenal waste of time, money, and human lives. Even the ugliness of the drug business can be laid at the feet of the prohibitionists, whose policies make the obscene profits possible. The War on Drugs is bad for everyone except drug enforcement, drug cartels, and the prison-industrial complex. Although some of my political views can still be construed by some to be vaguely "left-leaning," I have to say that the lame-ass losers, whores, punks, and sell-outs who pass for "liberals" these days are too timid to take a stand on this issue, and only a few figures on the right have had enough guts to speak out against this obscenity;Ron Paul and Bob Barr, for instance. Drug enforcement and the parasitical "treatment" industry are raking in the big bucks, while the rest of us lose out. (While I believe that treatment should be available to all who want it, forcing people into treatment with the threat of prison is nothing but extortion). America needs to stop sweeping its problems under the rug, and locking up its deviants in gulags that have surpassed those of communist era Russia in size. The price of totalitarianism will be paid by all, not just those it proposes to protect its citizen/slaves from. Even the most loyal servants of a totalitarian state are not safe from it, and that's exactly where we are headed, if this lunacy isn't dealt with decisively, and soon. Contact your elected officials to day, and let them know that the "War on Drugs" must stop.

Back With a Vengeance!
11.24.07 (7:52 pm)   [edit]
Yes I'm back, I've been out of prison since July 3rd and I'll be making an effort to keep a continuous stream of quality weirdness and deviant opinions coming.

Back again...
07.25.07 (10:21 pm)   [edit]
Frenetic D here saying I f'ing went back to prison for almost a year if you include the county jail time. Don't ask why, you can probably guess anyway. Actually, if you want to ask me about the details I'd be happy to share them, do ask why. I just won't bore you with them right here anyway. But I'm back, FreneticMemetics.com will be back up and running in a few days, and my struggle to promote further confusion, chaos and absurdity on line will begin again,in the spirit of friendship and tolerance. Those who for perverse reasons known only to themselves wish to view the literary and visual ranting of a seriously disturbed ex-junky ex-con will not be disappointed, although sane people may very well be.

Wrong place to live and really the wrong place to die
05.27.06 (10:33 pm)   [edit]
I'm living here because i have to. they won't let me leave yet. I don't want to die in this country because the DEA is still busting physicians for treating pain as they see fit, for "overprescribing" even to the terminally ill. I'm sick of this blog too. but it's my oldest one. Just tired of writing things that apperently get read here and there, but never knowing who read the or what they think, or why they even looked? I don't know. Tiresome bother I'd say. If I ever get out of here...I'll...I'll...go to Kathmandu

"Crystal Meth" and other garbage
05.23.06 (5:32 pm)   [edit]
I have this tiny little air conditioned corner of the universe for which I am grateful to no end, the direct sunlight in the later spring and summer affects my mood in a foul war. My wife aint speaking to me today. It started yesterday after a brief stupid argument. I'm trying to take the "let it be" view, and work on my own shit, mind my own business, but there are just to many things about my life that don't make sense. I have to keep reminding myself that if I go out looking for trouble, I will find it, and if it's not my night, I could be back in prison so fast, and I just know they will piss-test me again. I would like to (elsewhere) look at the latest media hysteria "Crystal Meth". It's not new. It's always there. It may fluctuate in popularity but it never goes away. The reasons for this latest (supposed) increase in popularity are uncertain, but the news commentators use language peppered with words designed to shock respectable viewers into believing there is a crisis at hand so that they tune in for next installment of the feature on the next day's news. I agree, that people with bad meth habits should not be allowed to be parents if the insist on continuing the behavior, and people who cook meth in the same house, even the same room as children are just dangerous idiots. But what I see, is poor people getting busted. Meth seems to be the drug for the trailer park set. I know it was during my trailer park days. When the media wants to make it look like some social phenomenon is on the rise, it simply increases its coverage. During the years between the Nixon regime and now, the crime rate stayed about the same, maybe even dropping a little. But media coverage of violent crime increased by 600% to 800% with a correponding increase in prison populations, and therefore profits, for the private prison industry, and for those who sell supplies to the state and federally owned prisons. The increase of police presence, as well as increasing number of ex-cons, and working prison guards living among all of you is pushing the entire country in the direction of its becoming one big minimum to medium security prison. Some say we're already there. So I'll do my time here where the air conditioning works.

Hugo Chavez, the next boogeyman?
05.21.06 (10:02 pm)   [edit]
A tough, popular socialist president of an oil-rich Central American country, Hugo Chavez is getting some mixed reviews in the US media. He's survived one attempted military coup already. The poor of his country are solidly behind him, because he has been able to deliver measurable improvements to the quality of life, as well as NBA basketball to Venezuelan TV viewers. The Shrub doesn't like him. We seem to either use covert action and right-wing terror (i.e. the Iran Contra affair) or outright war (like Noreiga's "arrest") and the whole Beavis Bush and Saddam Butthead show, American boys rocking into battle in tank and helicopters to the sound of Drowning Pool "Let the bodies hit the floor, let the bodies hit the floor..." Hugo Chavez seems to be getting ready for a fight, making massive weapons purchases, and recruiting a civilian homeguard from a ready and willing populace. He's not getting ready to invade anyone. He sees the writing on the wall. There's been nothng but one dumbass war after another as long as I can remember, starting with my little brother's birth in the middle of the "Cuban Missile Crisis". I'm 46, closing on 47 fast and things suck just as badly as ever. Violence is a function of authority. All violence is inherently authoritarian in nature, even the violence of "revolutionaries" and "anarchists". When the bombs and bullets start flying, the discussion is over, it's just everyone saying "because I said so" at the same time. They call Chavez a dictator. There is no question that he is tough and ruthless. Has history left him any other choice?

Anti-Sex on the bus
05.21.06 (9:47 pm)   [edit]
Large anti-sex poster on the side of the bus today, saying teen sex won't just go away if we ignore. I've been ignoring it since I stopped being a teenager, which was a very long time ago, but I had lots of sex in my teens and it was a good thing.

Never got a proper understanding of a "work day"
05.17.06 (6:12 pm)   [edit]
Yeah, I've worked, alot, for very little money at all, at various times in my life. Today, I accomplished most of what I set out to to, by setting modest and realistic goals, like going to the hardware store. I'm tired. I'm my own boss, and even if I had the money to do so, I don't think I'd pay myself very much, after seeing how little I accomplish from one day to the next. I needed to buy a dropcloth today, well, not needed, but surely wanted to, and I forgot to even look to see if one was available in the size and color I wanted. The 'zine is what I'm thinking of most of the time, so I need contributors, sorry, can't pay anyone right now but you can say you've been published by someone other than yourself. If I can get enough people to read the damn thing, then maybe ad space on it will be worth something, and I'll be able to pay for articles. If you can't get there from here, something's really wrong. Photos, and art are needed too. Copyrights will be respected. -D

Saturday night fears the sunrise
05.13.06 (11:47 pm)   [edit]
This doesn't matter, the fact that I could never quite figure out Sundays and have the wish to stay up all night and sleep all day tomorrow. Walked to Rite-Aid drugs a little after nine PM, the pharmacy had closed at 8, so I returned with a loaf of bread, a couple of sticks of butter, some gum and a bottle of water. Halway home I get a call from my better half asking where the fuck i was and if I was alright, because I broke the pattern. I'm usually jusr here, when she gets back. Supposed to sell flowers on mother's day, could make some good bucks but I'm feeling a real desire not to do so. Oh well. We Shall See.

Friday Night Lame
05.12.06 (10:28 pm)   [edit]
Friday night in front of the computer screen, my better half went to AA or something and i went to sleep, getting up about 10 PM to muck around with the blogs and stuff. At least people are starting to look at this one again. This is my 1st blog, the original one. I guess it's true what they say, you have to keep posting. the problem is, that on days like today there's not that much to say. So I'll shut up and if something worth saying comes up later, I'll be back, so stay tuned, if you're watching this page. Later on y'all. -Frenetic D

Moving on up!
03.28.06 (5:05 pm)   [edit]
FreneticMemetics.com is moving about a block up the road from where is is right now. The new office will be nicer, bigger, but most importantly, air conditioned. Summer heat drains my energy and puts me in a truly evil mood. A truly ugly and hateful neophyte demagogue by the name of Tom Tancredo has been enjoying his fifteen minutes of fame by trying to get americans to blame immigrants for a large number of social and economic problems, most of which can be traced back to the war-mongering and "Reverse Robinhood" tactics of the administration. But even George W., for all his greater sins, is a realist and a modernist on this issue. The reactionaries use "hot-button" cultural issues to get the working and middle classes to vote against their own economic interest. But the cultural agendas they push are hopelessly outdated and unrealistic, and what people end up getting is more of the same. Conservatives by definition are concerned with keeping the status quo intact. As had been the case in past wars, our government, and by definition "the people" (us) have again been left with a ridiculously large and still growing debt which allows policy to be dictated by global corporatist interests loyal to no nation or ideology, and serving nothing other than their own greed.

This is history.
03.28.06 (4:50 pm)   [edit]
as of 1-17-06On October 1st of 2005, the main office of the informatrix moved to larger quarters.During the last week of December, a second, brand new, faster, and more powerful computer was added to the array. Not only am I alive but things are going much better than anyone could have expected. Additionally, a woman from my distant past (23 years ago!) reappeared in my life, resulting in (among other things) the creation of a women's studies sub-domain within the site. A marriage of corporate fortunes may be the result of this rebirth of an old tactical alliance against an unforgiving world.Additionally I would like to go on record to express my gratitude to one Ms. Melinda Buzas, MA, CAC III, for convincing both myself and the powers that be that I don't necessarily need to be thrown in jail for my own good and the safety of society in general. All predictions that I would come out of retirement and return to my former career, something I'm clearly in no condition to do, have proven to be without merit. Yes boys and girls, the wages of sin is death (although they usually throw in a little cash too).Past Updates now Archived in "The Blog!Visit the blog often and say whatever is on your mind! 7-18-05 I somehow stayed out of jail for an entire year since my last arrest,(Correction, it will be one year as of August 18th) described below. Just how this affects my standing as a corporate criminal I don't know. But my fears, which led to my plans for expanding the Frenetic Staff have been
unfounded to date. Still, the liberal republican mayor of the great city of Denver, John Hickenlooper, has publicly refered to the Denver County Jail as a "disgrace" and "unworthy of our city," and although my loyalties remain with the libertarian party, I have to agree with His Honor on this one. Other than that, I became gravely Ill on July 7th of this year, and my life was saved only because I recognized that something didn't feel right, and got to the Denver Health main hospital (formerly Denver General) in time for a team of brilliant and dedicated surgeons, both American and middle eastern to save my life. Even these learned men placed my odds of survival at 50% initially. By July 17th, I was released from the hospital after having a long and dangerous operation on my left lung, followed by a couple of unconscious days on a respirator. Much in he way of liquid was drained from this lung; what I had was a bad pnuemonia with complications, but a portion of dead lung was removed too! Also rumored to have been removed from my lung was a portion of a crack pipe, a few small fragments of "Chore Boy" abrasive that had been exposed to high temperatures, and a partially smoked pack of Camel Turkish Royals. Needless to say, to my younger readers I warn against the pleasures of excess, immediate gratification, and the pseudo-religion of addiction they lead to. You will end up feeling like you are 90 years old when you hit about 45. To you old farts out there for whom all hope is lost anyway, do what the hell you want, you may be dying soon but that still doesn't make your private behavior the business of a government that was somehow granted parental authority over an infantile adult public!

Devoid in Denvoid: Ignorance, Bigotry, Reaction and Hate
03.23.06 (11:52 pm)   [edit]
I don't post new thoughts here all that often, I've been told that's why almost no one reads this damn blog, but here goes nothing. Tom Tancredo is a piece of shit. He is using the ignorance, fear and hatred of frightened Americans for his self-promotion and profit. He went from being a nobody to being the leader of a new xenophobe movement. We were/are all illegal aliens here. The American Indians have been dealing with this problem for 500 years now. Like the Islamic fundamentalists, the religious right-tards here in the states want to establish theocracy and totalitarianism. Al Quaida makes me nervous. the people straight up scare me, especially the "God Hates Fags" group that contaminated our town with their hate and lies recently. I'm too fucking tired for this shit. Benzodiazepenes often run short under these circumstances. By some miracle I'm not in prison, nor am I out here smoking crack or shooting junk. I'm just insane, that's all. But those people out there are really fucking dangerous. Fear Big Business, Big Government, and Authoritarian Religion, not sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll/

flowers of romance, made 126.00 selling roses but no matter someone told me I have to keep posting things here, even though I basically put it here for visitors to the website to mouth off on, you see the guestbook on the site will only allow for about four lines of commentary. People keep trying to write longer things there and it doesn't work. Meanwhile life goes on. Wonder what other retired criminals do? Are there any out there?

Mouth Off Here!
12.03.04 (6:21 am)   [edit]

The frenetic Informatrix moves rapidly towards its second birthday, and an explosive expansion is due any day now. Research Writing, Advertising, and Chaos Based Publicity publicity will rock the web and spill into the streets, living rooms, and brains of America, and in time the entire planet! Sounds delusional? Well, maybe, but here's the thing, we'll never know unless we set about the business of this grave and monstrous undertaking. Conventional information and memetic dispersal systems will eat dust.

But seriously folks, it's all I can do to keep out of jail and keep the informatrix up and running. I have viewed and heard from so many wonderful people already out here. Stay tuned! Come Back!
